Day 29/365: Pecan Orchard During the Off Season

This is a photograph of a pecan orchard not too far from my mom's house. The trees always look so sad to me during their off season. I can't wait to photograph it again when they are full of pecans.

What I love about this photograph: The end of the orchard looks like a cave....and we all know what happens in caves...LOL
Technical Stuff: Nikon D40; 40.0mm; 1/125s; f/5.6; ISO 250

How did you get the focus like that? Was that done in post, or do you have a Lensbaby or something?

don't know how you did that, but you really did an amazing job

thanks guys. i just did a soft focus during post. i think it really added drama to a boring picture. when i was playing around with, found that i loved the effect and plan to use it more.

I am glad you highlighted this! I remember the last time I had to go to the gynae with a UTI - I hated her snarky attitude. Worse still, Action Fuel PRO she had a student with her and there I was, literally shrinking into myself. Oh Vidya, I'm so sorry the doctor made you feel so bad about having a UTI. They are really quite common. My next blog post about this topic will look into http://www.supplements4help.com/action-fuel-pro-scam/
